You know what I love about Americans. They focus too much on thier own cars, American. Probally the worst cars in the world are American made but no Americans seem to see that.

What the heck was with that Magnum? That’s not the usual which is NOT ugly.
The PT, Caddie, and the Prius should not be on this list.
Add the Yaris, Echo, and any other mico box out there.

So i guess the AMC Pacer is a styling masterpiece? Or the Gremlin? Or the yugo? Or the Fiat Doblo? This list is bull.
Aztec - Definitely. Auto critics SCREAMED at GM not to make it after the first prototypes were shown. My mother saw the car while on the road and burst into tears. She thought someone had been in a terrible accident the car look so mangled. When I explained to her that, no, this is the way it comes from the factory, she felt better and said, ”That’s ugliest car I’ve ever seen since the Gremlin.” I love you, Mom.
Avalanche - Another styling masterpeice by GM. Use liberal amounts plastic body side cladding in order to reduce cost but let’s skip the body colored paint (to save more cost), no, no, Bubba Backroad primer grey is a fantastic finish! Couldn’t you have at least used the processes learned from Saturn. Two Thumbs up on that debacle chief design guru!
Magnum - Why is this here? It’s actually one of the few times an American (OK, Euro-Anglo) car company has pulled off a great looking and driving wagon (or shooting brake, or estate, or extended sedan, or whatever coloquialism you want to use today).
Prius - Sigh .... nice second first attempt, Toyota. Glad you guys are learning a hybrid is a platform and not a styling experiment. Just because my car uses future techonology, it doesn’t mean I want it styled as if it was ripped from the celluoid of ”The Jetsons” or some weirded out Japanese anime.
Fiat - What in the BLOODY HELL!! Did someone pour a bottle of Absinthe into the Spaghetti sauce in Italy? Either that or someone was a big ”Total Recall” fan and decided to design a tribute vehicle to those funny self driving cabs featured in the movie. This thing looks like a one-off design comissioned by the Vatican as the new Pope Mobile and some genius decided to take it to full production. Hey, isn’t Fiat partially owned by GM? Ohhh....now I see why! Must have been the same team who approved the Aztec. Nice one, fellas!
Oh, and in tribute to ”Total Recall”, to paraphrase Arnold - ”Get your a$$ to the junkyard.”
Maybach - It’s just too damn expensive to be a mistake...right?!
Scion xB - What do you expect for $11K? A design by Pinnafarina, Callum, or Giorgolo. Hey so what it’s was designed by 5 year olds using Legos instead of modeling clay. Anything this boxy has to be loved. It’s like the antithesis of a VW Bug.
CTS - I’ve beat up enough on GM ..... OK no I haven’t. Dear GM, if you design a successful SUV please not that the main design elements usually do not neccessarily translate well to a sedan and vice versa. Would you design the next Suburban using Corvette design elements ... ok then...get the point.
PT - Not even close to being ugly. How did this make the list? The PT was a pretty cool looking retro-rod when it came out. Bear in mind this was before ever car manufacturer and their mother decided to use retro cues for everything.

Ugly is in the beholder’s eye. If you want ugly, soul-rendering tear-in-the-eye gut-wrenching ugly remove the above pics and replace with pics of my face and fat body.
My visage makes kids cry at a mere glance.
The Marine Corps wanted me to enlist so as to save on ammunition costs; one glance at me and the enemy would flee in terror.

Who decided to include the Magnum and PT Cruiser in this list? Somebody with a hate-on for Chrysler corp?
Those are well designed and distinctive vehicles. Give your head a shake.

hi mike,
That was me who ’decided to include the Magnum and PT Cruiser’ here because I belive Magnum has a horrendous enormous front and as for PT it looks like a half baked cake.
